I’ve been with nei for 3 years. Joining was an exciting opportunity for me to contribute to meaningful projects that align with the company’s mission of becoming a leading African manufacturer of premium natural flavours. As a food scientist, it’s a privilege to contribute while also growing professionally.

As a member of the Quality Control Team, I ensure that our production operations comply with internal and external standards like Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) and FSSC 22000. My responsibilities include monitoring and inspections, as well as validation and verification procedures. I also collaborate with the laboratory team to perform microbiology tests – including Total Plate Count and Yeast & Mould – for both in-process and finished products. I enjoy working closely with my team, especially bringing insightful ideas to the table to tackle different projects and challenges. This provides an opportunity to learn and think creatively outside the box.
