I have been working with nei since 2019. Since then, I’ve gained valuable experience and achieved excellent results. I joined nei because I saw the opportunity to earn income through the good prices that were initially offered. This encouraged me to start vanilla farming. I can handle household chores while also managing the vanilla plants, as this kind of farming is relatively low maintenance. Vanilla farming has increased my income. The money I earn has helped me pay school fees for my children, buy livestock and raise domestic animals. We face different challenges including weather patterns, which have caused droughts and the vanilla plants to wither. We have also experienced a big drop in prices.
